Spring is a very busy time here on the farm.  The winter orchard trimming is wrapping up and the fields are being readied for planting.

The Free Soil and Ludington markets are open for the season. The greenhouses are stocked with an enormous, colorful variety of plants for spring planting. Annual flowers, vegetables, perennials, trees and shrubs--everything needed to make your yard beautiful! We stock a large variety of vibrant hanging baskets--great for Mother’s day gift giving.

In addition, you will find a large selection of lawn and garden care products, planters, potting and top soils, fertilizer, mulch by the bag or truck load.

The markets both feature a complete line of produce and locally grown Asparagus is the first tasty treat of the season.

The fall Apple harvest has begun! We are picking both sweet eating varieties and tart apples for cooking. Extra large heads of cabbage and a number of Squash varieties are being harvested.    Michigan Honeyrock Melons are a sweet tasty treat. The Free Soil Restaurant and Bakery is featuring Homemade Deep Dish Peach Pies.  Lunch specials include a delicious Grilled Chicken & Apple Salad. New fudge flavors include Butter Cream and Cherry Cream.  We are now taking orders for the season's final frozen fruit and vegetable sale.
